Pedro and Jersey

My name is John Martin de Bartolome and I am the great grandson of Mariano Martin de Bartolome.I am wondering if anybody has any more information about Pedro and his time in Jersey and what happened to the various children.Also, I am wondering if anyone knows where Pedro is buried on Jersey.
Pedro went to St Helier in Jersey in 1828 and by 1839 he was dead.Unfortunately the census did not start in Jersey till after his death but the 1851 census shows his wife Josefa,his daughter Margaret who had married and by then was a widow,Stefania,Vicenta and Justa and Joseph all living in a house in St Helier.I have visited the address but the previous houses hav e long since been pulled down and rebuilt.
There is a story in our family that as Pedro was a Catholic, he could not be buried in a churchyard so he was buried in the garden of his house.
Does anyone have any information.
